Has anyone had any trouble using the internet tethering on the blackberry playbook with the T-mobile version of this phone. The reason i ask is because the two demo handsets I've played with at the store would not work with this feature. It would get to the acquiring ip address step and then time out. Do you think think it could have something to do with not having a tethering plan? I know t-mobile states on their website a tethering plan is required but i havent seen them enforce it yet on the blackberry. My current bold 9700 is able to thether without a problem to my playbook and i just have a regular 2gb data plan on it without the extra tethering fee. Not a deal breaker of course since the new bridge update allows your apps to take advantage of your BB data but I wanted to test if i could get up to 2mbps down thru tethering since it taps into the H+ network. Currently the max I'm able to hit with bridge is .8mbps and 1.5mbps down thru tethering. If anyone has any insight I would appreciate your feedback thanks!

We will get it soon. Tmobile charges for wired tethering but now wireless hotspot. Doesnt make alot of sense. I expect it to change to be honest, especially with the 4g speed going full swing. Well hspa+, but whos counting. We are getting UMA and hotspot ina november update, hopefully a leak of that update will be available sooner though.
