T-Mobile's "4G" claims have been debunked in so many articles. HSPA+ is faster than 3G under ideal conditions but doesn't come close to touching my friend's Thunderbolt download speeds. Still... if I could get HSPA+ speeds on my 9930 I'd take it...just BS marketing.

Anyone want to paste up what they have on their facebook page? For all us 3 people who aren't on it ya know.
Don't need a Facebook to view the page, but here you go.

Man the carriers are squeezing every penny out us with the pricing on this device! Hopefully they come to their senses after the initial launch and bring the Bold down to 149-199 mark.

Right you would think with the economy they would be a little bit more sensitive....but congrats for T-Mobile customers.
If it's really $350 minus $50 rebate you'd be better of buying the unit out right and going with TMO prepaid service.
For a BB its $80 per month for unlimited talk, text and 4G speed. Also with a no-contact prepaid service there is no tax or regulatory fees... $80 per month and that's it.

You have to go in store --- you can only view it on line.
Just buy the phone and get the SIM card... their is no activation fee, just pick prepaid no contract services.
Unlimited Talk, Text and 4G speed data is $70 per month.
Then you because its a BB you have to pick BIS for $10 per month.
For another $10 per month you can get unlimited international texting and unlimited calling to landlines in over 200 countries... I call friends in Canada a lot so I have that.
Right now I pay $80 month but I use an Galaxy S... if I go with the 9900 I will be paying $90 which is still at least $30 cheaper per month than AT&T and/or Verizon.
Again on the prepaid services taxes are included in those price and prepaid is not subject to regulatory fees.
Yeah I'll deff wait 2 or 3 weeks for it to drop down to $199 as it inevitably will.
Are you 100% positive that in 2-3 weeks the price will drop to $199 to renew contract for 2 years? If so, i will wait... Because i really dont want to pay the full $300 to upgrade. I know you can pay in installments, but still $300 is a high price.
That $249 is starting to look very nice on the other carriers isn't it? Jokes aside I'm wondering why they're asking so much? It's been a long time since I've been with t-mobile but, I never recall them being this expensive for smartphones.
