i had the same problem. it was driving me nuts too and i tried all u tried to no avail. this was one of the many factors that built upon eaachother and ultimately made me buy an iphone 4s. if im gonna spend hundreds a month on a phone, i want the damn thing to work as advertised. something bb just doesnt do.
my facebook "messages" (not sure if it has been since i got 9930, or since fb upgraded itself once again with this dumb new messaging way), do not come through phone until after i have read them online, but they do not show up online as "new", as if i have already viewed them on phone. also, if i do get a fb notif (wall post), the red star shows up, but the F icon does not appear in the notif bar. recent...
