Need help guys. I'm updating my OS to 7.1 now. I tried using DM but it got stuck on backup. So I'm using apploader now, but it's stuck on Read device service information. I updated my OS before and this never happened. This actually takes so quick. But now it's taking on forever. I can't think of any way how to go on with the update.

I've tried that. Nothing happens. I'm stuck on back-up, both on DM and AppLoader.

Uninstall Social Feeds... you can reinstall later.

Back up and wipe your device. You shouldn't have a problem with loading the OS on your device after that.

If that doesn't work do it OTA on wifi. If it gets stuck, hold the home button and it'll do a restart. I had the same issue last night updating and somehow it worked...

Didn't do the back up since I can't. So what I did was, reinstalled DM and removed Social Feeds on my phone. It works now.

It's either because of DM or Social Feeds.

Just had 507 error on my phone. And I think I bricked it lol.

Would a wipe work after I reload the OS? Or it's useless right?

507 means no OS on the device. Reload the OS.

Did you try running apploader.exe /resettofactory?
That has bailed me out a couple of times.
Then you should be able to install the update.

I reloaded the OS, good thing I backed up my phone. But I lost my 3rd party apps, no biggie though.

But has anyone noticed, OS 7.1 has no BB Maps on it? On DM it says it's installed on my phone, but it aint there when I check it. LOL

Just had the same issue. Had to delete social feeds to get it to work. Oddly, it backed up without any problem on my Mac without deleting Social Feeds but wouldn't on my PC until I deleted it. Does anyone know why?
