I see the update now. I had to downgrade to a Sprint firmware (7.0.0.241) to be able to see the OTA update. Restarting my phone now to start the update.
I like how we don't know what version it is yet....lmao. Soon. Hopefully they put that .exe up soon so us Verizon guys can get it too.
I knew Sprint was going to release something soon, but didn't think they'd be the first to get 7.1 out officially.
I know how about that?! Sprint seems to really be trying to be on top of things here lately. Trying to prove they're on the ball I assume with the potential T-Mobile AT&T merger and the hope to pick up some new customers out of the deal.

Think so? That's possible. It makes sense. I'm just glad we 9930 users finally get something. EVERY single other BB7 device (CDMA or GSM) has been ahead of our Verizon 374 for awhile.
Mine is still patching Java. This is taking awhile...
Yes my god the linking java is painful now isn't it? I have to leave for work in the morning @ 5:30 but there's no way in heck I'm going to bed before this is done and I've checked it out front to back. As I've typed this that message has gone away and I now have a Sprint logo!
7.1.0.163 is here at Sprint folks! oh and Mobile hotspot!
Activation Required! "To use this feature, contact your wireless service provider and subscribe to a Mobile Hotspot data plan." Well we'll just have to make a phone call in the morning
Sprint cost is $29.99/month. I am editing this post using mobile hotspot two rooms away from my phone with three bars on the netbook connection. Almost as strong as my wifi signal, but dropped at 40 ft. Pretty fast when sitting right next to the device.
