I have come from Qatar yesterday and put in a T-mobile loaner SIM for the week that I am in the US.And guess what, my 9930 froze on the BB ID name and password screen.It will not accept my password (says it does not match).have gone online to the BB page and the password works there.When I put in my other Qatar SIM I can use my contacts and browse the net.but obviously cant use the phone as the T-mobile SiM makes it freeze at the BB user iD page and will not accept my password.I have now made 8 out of 10 attempts !

please help as I need the phone function as I travel in the US.

Sounds like the tmobile sim doesn't have A BlackBerry data package. If you put in your Qatar SIM, does it ask you for your BBID login? If you can get into the phone with the Qatar sim, try logging into and saving a wifi network so when the tmobile sim is in the phone it can use a wifi connection to validate your password. If that works, you will then be able to check that the phone has BlackBerry data over the cellular network.
