depends on you.
I would say no, LOVE my 9900, iPhone just isn't my type of phone.

i would say NO, but it's your decision to make.
did you asked yourself, do you need a iphone and all the other questions.
Guess it depends on how bad you want an iPhone. You'd have to rip my 9930 from my cold dead fingers to get it...but that's me...
I have the 4S and I'm thinking of getting the Bold 9930 :p
The 4S is really good, many apps, great camera. Also having an Apple TV so you can display your iPhone screen on your TV and stream Netflix, Hulu, photo slideshows, music, etc. is a great feature (the main reason I bought the 4S).
Downside of the 4S: I have a studded lag when opening the browser I begin to type in the search and it displays the first letter, then lags then types the rest. I'm just starting to dislike Apple and the stranglehold that they are trying to put people in by getting them to have their seamless experience with every iDevice and Apple device. I didn't own an Apple device until last near iPhone 4, & now i have an iMac, Apple TV and iPhone 4S.
Another thing missing from the iPhone 4S is the notification light. You can turn on your LED flash to be a message indicator, but it doesn't work that well. The phone also does not support Flash in its browser.
Also, Siri isn't that special. I can set an alarm clock, google search, wolfram search, call people by relation (mom, dad, sister, girlfriend, etc.), but it doesn't always work and all commands go through apple servers. The only benefit is pressing the home button, putting up to ear and saying a command like text so and so this, or call person x, while wearing gloves in the winter time.
I have changed my mind blackberry is the way to go :)
you will miss the physical keyboard. plus your trading 2 phones and only getting 1 thats not a fair trade.
Absolutely not.
Not even a fair trade if you did JUST your 9900 for a 4s.
Do the trade only if you want the other guy to get a really great deal :)
Why on earth would you do that? I'm going to jump to the conclusion, that you're all play, that's the only reason a bunch of my friends got an iPhone is because of the games, and apps. That was never a deal breaker for me, nor will it ever be.
I traded my Bold 9900 for an iPhone 4S, and couldn't be more happy. The only things I miss are the led light and the elegance of the Bold; every time I see one I just want to hold it.
Other than that, the iPhone 4S is an amazing phone. To the person that said that iPhones are all play, your making a stereotypical assumption. Yes, many people like to play games but many don't. I don't have any games on my iPhone.
If you love to browse on your phone then get the 4S, it's a much better browser than the Bold. Especially when it comes to watching embedded videos. Try watching videos on espn mobile with the Bold 9900 and you will get a low quality stream despite having an excellent connection. Try the same with the iPhone and you will stream a great quality video. Even worse(st?) some videos don't load on the Bold, such as: ign.com, nymets.com, Vimeo.com, ogrish.com and even some videos on crackberry.com don't load due to not being compatible in the browser.
I don't know about you but I felt like smashing my $650 phone when I couldn't open an email with some photos due do the email being truncated. That problem is gone with the iPhone.
Physical board issue is subjective. Yes the bold 9900 has the best keyboard in the market but surprisingly I can type a little faster on my iPhone. I think it's because the auto-guess, auto-correct, finishes the words for you.
you'd come on a BlackBerry forum to ask about getting rid of two for an iPhone?
don't let the door hit you on your way out
