Cracked face and lcd of 9900. First replaced screen only then realized I needed to replace LCD as well. I have taken apart phone several times. I've become an expert on the 3 connections. if my keypad is unresponsive, should I replace that as well?

There are several possibilities of why this happened.

    The two most likely are:

    1) Keyboard connection came loose.

SOLUTION: Reattach the connector. This is easy, especially as you know how to tear down the phone. There are many videos available that show how this is done.

    2) Keyboard cable is damaged

SOLUTION: You will have to replace the keyboard in this case. They're about $9 online, so that's not too expensive.

    Good luck.
