depends, if you want a keyboard and can't wait until later 2012 then i would get the 9900 i have one and i love it, and the 1st BB10 phone that comes out is supposed to be all touch.

yes i do need a keyboard and my bold 9000 is showing its age but if bb 10 turns out to totally rock i dont want to be out $450

you could find a used one, they are a bit cheaper and then when a BB10 keyboard device comes out you couyld see the 9900 and recoup some of the costs

The keyboard loaded BB10!device isn't supposed to be out till next year if I remember correctly, I say go for the 9900

That has been all but confirmed.. No keyboard BB10 device for a bit.. So i concur, get the 9900. You so wont regret it.

Don't think I'd wait. Who knows when a keyboard BB10 device will hit the market and RIM's dates have a tendency to slip to the right as it is. In the end, it's up to you.

I wouldn't wait. I've seen RIM's release dates change many times, and no one knows for sure when the keyboard BB10 device will be released.

I'd watch the "marketplace" section of this forum. There are good folks on here that get rid of gently used Bolds all the time. Pick one up.

On day 2 of my 9900, came from a Samsung FocusFlash BACK to Blackberry for simplicity, wont look back. Love it. Id expect the ability to upgrade to the next OS, but time will tell. 7 is a big upgrade from 4.5 and 5 (what i was originally using)

I was on that same fence as well. I decided to go for it and purchased the BOLD 9930 about a month ago and haven't looked back. This is the BEST BlackBerry phone made to date....IMO. The BB10 with a keypad is not due out until 2013???? The all touch BB10 is due out Q4 2012.....I say go for it, you only live once.

My brand new 9900 is no better than my old phone, really; doesn't do anything the old one couldn't do, and, frankly, is causing me some grief right out of the traps (inexplicably it's not alerting me to new messages despite the profile being set up to do so and saying it should). Three hours of poncing about on forums and on the phone to my carrier all to no avail.

Come back 9300. All is forgiven.

You must not have explored 9900 fully.
There are many features which 9300 doesn't have.
Like touch screen, HSPA+, GPS, 5mp camera, voice dialling, higher memory, OS 7.1...

Like some have said, You have a 9000, and looking to upgrade, the Qwerty Keyboard BBOS10 won't be avaiable until 2013, If I were you, I'd upgrade to the Bold 9900 (even cheaper now at Best Buy) I've had my Bold 9930 since day ONE, and love it. My upgrade is due June 2013, so hopefully RIM has a full size Qwerty keyboard OS10 avaiable. Good luck on your choice.
