really thinking about giving up on my HTC evo 4g to get the new Bold 9930. One question I have is will I be able to share my internet connection to my WiFi only HP TP? I rooted my evo to get free WiFi tether and it works like a charm. But I'd really like to get the bold 9930. Any insight would be appreciated. Thank you

The 9930 does have WiFi Hotspot capabilities, but as of yet no carrier has enabled the feature. Once it is you will be able to use it with your TP.

There is an app called Tetherberry. I assume it works with the 9900. I don't think it creates a wifi hotspot though so you would have have to connect using a USB connection.

thanks for the feedback. I'll just wait it out to see if any carrier decides to enable the feature.

Sprint released a memo that said they were doing it sometime Q4. Hope the others aren't far behind...
