It's the first "sticky" at the top of the 9900/9930 forum (.503). Good luck, and enjoy!

    DISCLAIMER:

I can't guarantee that this will fix your problem. I can only tell you what I did and that my problem has been fixed.

Type "security wipe" and universal search should locate it for your in the options menu.

Select "delete installed apps". DO NOT!!!! check the first box, that will delete all of your data.

After you delete installed apps, your phone will reboot. don't worry, none of your other info will be deleted. emails, texts, contacts, call history, pictures, etc. will still be there.

after i did this i noticed an improvement in overall performance; my phone didn't lag or get bogged down when under heavy use. i guess it has to do with the fact that even though i uninstalled many apps by uninstalling them in appworld or "deleting" them from the home screen, there is still a bunch of "stuff" hidden in the background that remains and takes up system resources. doing a security wipe solved that problem though...

Try a battery pull before you wipe the poor thing.

Same thing happened to me too, AT&T 9900. Other issues as well: http://forums.crackberry.com/blackbe...eep-up-670107/

Took it back and exchanged it. Can anyone confirm this is an OS issue? Mine seemed to get worse over time. Hopefully this one will be okay.
