Just wiping ur device and installing the leaked 7.0.0.540 could fix the bricked 9900.

Im from China, and many bbers of 9900 reported that their 9900 just fixed with the new rom. But here i did not see any guys mention it, so i would like to share this news with u.

90% of the time, a nuked berry can be fixed with reloading any OS. but glad to see you 9900 users having some luck with your bricking issues.

We thought many of them were bricked, but actually they were just nuked.
Tt'S just most roms could not fix them, BUT 540 could.

And a reasonable portion of 9900 could not be fixed yet cause they cannot connect to the PC.

Anyway, its a good news that RIM did not release 9900 with hardware defeats, only anout software.

I hope these issues are software issues. But we don't know for sure if this is an OS issue. I wonder how many people were able to bring their nuked BBs back to life with newly leaked OS versions.

I've seen at least one revived, but that was shortlived as it attempted to snuff itself again (and was revived again). But the lack of confidence in the device's long-term stability is justifiably palpable.
