For those of you outside of Canada looking to buy the Bold 9900.. I just chatted with a rep from Bell and she said I needed a Canadian credit card and a Canadian address and I could purchase the phone (I'm assuming this policy applies to all carriers in Canada).. bush league I tell you, just bush league. $599 + tax and shipping would be great.. considering I can pay $199 + tax in November when AT&T FINALLY gets off their arse and releases it.... I just don't want to wait that long.

You have to do some sort of tweak to a file or two, but it has been done before - I had it done on my Rogers 9780. I didn't do it per se, but the instructions are out there. I don't mind not having VVM......but I do mind not having the device!

I do mind not having VVM. I would rather just stick with my 9700 than lose it.

I could probably do $700 shipped as long as shipping isnt over $25.

i bought mine at a Rogers Plus in Ottawa. Am here for a couple of days. Got my unlock code and the compass is in the Applications folder

nope Bell rogers and telus all use the same 3g h+ frequency so any of them will work

wind and mobilicty have the same bands as Tmo

Do wind and or mobilicity sell the 9810 or 9850?
