I am so ready to ditch the iPhone 4 for the 9900. The questions I have that someone might answer here that i couldn't find on the Unlock forum, will Rogers phone on AT&T give me AT&T Visual Voicemail and 3G?

    I had a 9780 TMO Unlocked and I couldn't have 3G or VV. Does anyone have a Rogers phone on AT&T Network/SIM?

you wont have any issues with 3g rogers an att use the same 3G band. as for vv i cant speak on never used it but hopefully it should work as long as the right service books are pushed

3G works perfect but VVM will take some effort. It can be done.

The visual voice mail is possible but requires the modification of some .axl files.

awesome! thanks, i will prob be getting it from rogers and not waiting. I can always use YouMail for VVM if it doesn't go through.

nvm, saw this posted in another thread. Thx, Soccernamlak

No. AT&T doesn't have a 4G network, they have a 3.75G network that got overhauled to HSPA+, which is 3G for all intents and purposes. Same ol' frequency and bands, just support for 14.4 Mb/s

I've been looking around and I haven't seen anything that says you can. Maybe they will have it on their website to buy out right? I wish I was rich like you people are. Throwing around 6 benjamins for a phone. That will buy two children school clothes for the year and my baby enough diapers for 9 months.

Got a rogers 9780, 3G is perfect, VVM works with YOUmail. Planning on doing the same with the 9900!

Back when AT&T released the Dell Streak I bought an AT&T Streak off contract, unlocked it, and have it running flawlessly on Rogers now. I can't see why it wouldn't work the other way around.

You'd have to find someone in Canada to ship it to you because Roger's won't.
