    Hi all,
Not sure if anyone has done this , but I've backed up my old 9000 and would just like to restore my contacts without anything else?
I heard they can be put on the sim card ??

What is the best way to do this unless only with desktop Manager ...
I don't want to mess anything up.

    Thx

    Hey there,

The easy way is to instal BB Protect on to your 9000 and backup only contacts after that go to you 9900 and restore it.
Easy to do the only thing is you have to login with the same BB account u use it to back up on to BB Protect.

plug your 9900 in, select restore data, highlight the desired backup file, select "Selected Data" and then select Address bok entries. Then press "Restore"

cant remember if the 9000 had the option to back up contacts to sim card. the new os told me the old phone had to have the feature available. i didnt use it tho, i just used dm quick and easy. there are great, well good, instructions on that little flip out card that came with the manuals, believe it gives you the options available to transfer contacts.
