Any recommendations for a chat program that can run all day (passive) without consuming lots of battery power?

I had beejive on 9700, which i loved. Any suggestions who keeps the chat program running all day?? Thanks!!

i have both beejive and im+.
for running 24/7 beejive was better on the battery. beejive attention seems to be on other platforms now, its no where near as good as when it first came onto the scene.
for features im+ has a lot more, imho the interface sucks.

i prefer beejive, its the one i use 24/7.
    i haven't had a look at im+ lately tho.

I'm a Trillian user and I've been using it on my 9900 since I got it, works great. Just a vote for the outsider.

So many different chat applications. I could stick with beejive and see how it performs

Why bother using any of them? All of the IM's under those apps are already native on the device and employ a far nicer interface..

Why bother installing those apps when you can actually have 1 app all in 1?

I'll go be with Beejive. Just played around with social feeds app. Looks like it integrates RSS, all the chats in one dashboard.

Not sure if you have looked into it. Looks pretty cool so far.
