i recently noticed this on my 9900, and i have no idea whats with it. the phones about 5 weeks old, and i plan to ask my carrier dealership as soon as i can. theres a small line of purple pixels on the left side of my camera screen when im taking pictures and video. it only appears when the camera is in use. i took a screen grab of it, and im including it

That looks like a bright infrared light.

I got no problems. Does it do this in other photo settings as well?

Yes it does. But afterwads, the picture is fine. Its just when the lens is active

Yeah my 9900 does it too... only in low light situations and it doesn't show in the picture so I am fine with it. It's still kind of annoying though.

I think it's screen light bleed when the screen is dark. Try looking at a black image in the dark and see if it produces the same results. I just tried mine and it doesn't do it. Maybe not that great of an assembly then. You can always ask for a new phone which means they'll give you a refurb. =/
