Problem after problem
So I bought thing thinking it was my dream berry (had vowed to buy a touchscreen/keyboard/bold9000) and its been riddled with issues ever since I bought it.
Friend had bought one as-well where he was facing horrid battery and generic issues. The thing didn't even last till lunch for him. He returned it and is waiting on a replacement (there is no return only option in India, you buy it you're stuck).
And today mine, out of the blue without doing anything got stuck in a reboot cycle and I bring it to my computer to find this out.

Honestly I am lost for words and feel pathetic paying over 700$ for this thing. Using berries since 2005 and I am honestly thinking of getting rid of it for good now (its my second phone next to my iPhone 4 and a toy Pixi Plus)

I don't think you're alone. So many people have been reporting random problems and bugs like this. I guess RIM really didn't do that well with OS7. I feel like there's enough problems out there that the device should be investigated. then again there are also tons who love it and have no problms. RIM should investigate

OP:
Is there a way you can run windows on boot camp/parrallels on your mac? DM on windows is much much more capable and you;ll be able to upload the latest official and leaked OSs for the phone.
On top of that, like i just did last night, you can shrink the OS which will give you more memory and "better" performance.
