Try to go to one of the carriers there [spice for example] and see if they know of anything. It's a great device, you won't regret the purchase at all!
Don't know how things are in India, but here in Germany price drops slowly since months. I bought my Bold end of march for around 500,-�, right now online retailers sell them for around 450,-�.
However I doubt we'll see any larger pricedrops within the next weeks. Especially since the BB10 launch got delayed.
