    Hi, all.

I got my Bold 9900 back from Rogers after a week and the very cyptic work-order said they had replaced something with a PRD-40764-003 (apparently the old whatever it was was a smaller PRD. I noted also that the number to the right of the PRD seems to indicated a build date 281011 which was couple of months later than the handset I sent in for repair. The PIN and IMEI stayed the same.

The handset came back running stock Rogers .261 firmware so that didn't change...

Does anyone have the ability to shed any light on this?

Are you sure what you are referring to isn't PCB and not PRD, like on my battery door it says PCB-39532-006 Rev 1 which is just the printed circuit board number they give their circuits (in this case, the NFC one).

EDIT: Nvm I see what you're referring to now, mine is also from Rogers and has the same PRD number you have too. (Looked under the battery)

I just had a look at my replacement 9900 that I got a little over a week ago and here's what I've got:

    PRD-40765-007
    PCB-38627-004

Not sure what the previous one was, didn't check before it went back.
