So may be upgrading from an 8530 to a 9930. Quite a jump right? What are some of the main differences (good and bad) I can expect to see? Thanks!

I recently upgraded from a 9630 (Tour) to a Bold 9930. Biggest changes...
    Good...
    -larger screen is nice
-touch screen and trackpad make a great combination
    -even better keyboard
    -faster at everything
    -much better browser
    -Wifi
    Bad...
    -smaller battery, shorter life
    -some apps not compatible
-one convenience key rather than two

The device overall is much better to use, in every aspect. All I'd say is that battery life will be worse in comparison to the 8530. But I'd take the 9900 over any other model, just because of the sheer speed. I thought my Torch was quick but this is so much better. leaps and bounds!

Once you go 9930 you won't go back. Like pointed out the battery life is less but it is FAST and perfect size. Touch screen combined with a bigger user friendly keyboard is what makes this the flag ship phone of BlackBerry.

The 9930 is blackberry's flagship device. By far its the best BB to date and you won't regret the purchase.

Best Bold to date. I started with a 9000 Bold from Rogers back in the day, and been using Bolds since. This phone is all that, and a bag of chips!

The touchscreen/keyboard combo makes it the best BB ever. Plus it's fast!

I just got mine a week ago. After using a Curve 3G, the biggest differences I notice are the display, speed and keyboard. Battery life is shorter, but it is still great.

I upgraded to the 9900 from an 8320 and I instantly fell in love with the 9900.

The battery life sucks because you're going to be using it more often. :P

Thanks for the replies all. It sounds like I should be pretty pleased with the change. Now for the best part, that just may make some jealous...my work is buying the phone, and taking care of the bill every month. That will make it even better!
