    Hi everyone,

Apologies for yet another battery related question. However, I would like to hear your opinion on the following. I am not new to Blackberry phones. Two months ago I got a new 9900 from T-Mobile CZ. I have managed to tweak/optimize my battery to have an average of 2.7% of drainage. Currently running the latest official software 7.1 bundle 998.

Overall fantastic experience; however, as the subject states, my phone switches off at exactly 50% battery capacity! This is happening every single time without exceptions. Switching it back on and/or battery pull wouldn't change anything. The phone would switch off once it is fully booted. Putting it on charge would fix the issue; until it would reach 50% battery capacity again (while off the charge).

At the moment I am planning to exchange the battery, as it seems the most likely reason for that. But before doing that I am keen to hear your opinion first.

Thank you for your input in advance!

I'm sorry but I believe your battery is kaput to put it bluntly.
I had a BB Storm that did that once till I changed the battery and suddenly I was back on level ground.
Two months? What is the warranty period for berrys?
