I took out a contract on a BB 9900 in the uk on the 29 Oct 2012, it has since developed a fault, the volume sown/ skip song back button no longer works. The provider, phones for you state they will only repair the fault within 28 days of purchase. is the a RIM warrenty on all handsets, much like the playbook warrenty?

You need to contact your network provider themselves rather than Phone4u, who are you direct line to RIM for support and any issues with your handset.

called orange, they refered me back to phones for you. grrrr

luckily the lady i was talking to knew balckberry's well, after doind a back up i took her advice and did a full security wipe. problem solved. It is always nice to speak to someone knowledgable at a mobile phone compnay rather than the usual scripted rubbish

It's also always nice that there are still people in mobile phone companies which are well-versed with BB, and not just trying to push the Droid and Crapple devices.
