Hi all. I've owned a blackberry bold 9900 which i purchased online through ebay and i believe it came from one of the Asian countries. the phone is fantastic and continues to work as it should since the day i bought it. Im wondering if this phone, being an overseas model, is safe and complies with the Australian standards in terms of radio frequencies and radiation output. Or are the standards the same everywhere?

This may seem like a bit of a weird question but please let me know if you are aware of this.

    Thanks guys.

nope it's going to very likely explode as soon as you make your first call... very unsafe.

    wow, that is dangerous.

of course i'm being sarcastic. they're not going to release a device that's going to give you brain cancer if you use it in a different country.
