Recently on my new bold 9900 I found my trackpad was over sensitive. I would hover my finger 1 cm above it and it would still move the mouse. I've tried wiping the phone and installing the latest OS (0.474). None of it worked. Until I switched on the audible scroll option (can be found in the trackpad sensitivity options) and now it's perfectly normal. So I'm guessing it's an OS problem.

Yikes! Just tried that and it sounds as though I have an angry mosquito inside my BB! I came to the 9900 from the 8900 and to be honest, I'm finding that the trackpad much less userfriedly than a trackball.
