I'm currently on .355 on mine, but just curious what everyone else is using, and which do you think if the best in your opinion.

I recently upp'd to .342, and it works like a charm. Battery life is decent. Is there any specific reason to go for .355?

Probably not. I jumped from 267 to 402, and then dropped down to 355. I'm not very happy with 355 because of battery life and will likely load 342. My battery was awesome on 267, and for a while on 402. 402 also brought back the 7.1 memory leak and an IT policy, so I wiped and dropped down to 355 because it was the next newest. I've read a lot of posts from folks who have dropped down to 342 and are very happy with it.

I've played around with them all except for 355. I didn't care for 402 because of the IT policy it put on my phone. I did a factory reset now I'm back using 342, battery life is great.

What I'm confused about is the recent Verizon 9930 update discussed earlier this week... When I go to the Verizon download center, I still see the old version sitting there.. 7.1.457. Am I crazy?

I downgraded to .342 last night and I must say it's seems much better than .355 already. I will definitely stick to this one until more updates come out...what is up with the 9900 getting the majority of the updates first?

Oh and I just noticed my bad typo in the subject line, and that sort of typo is one of my big pet peeves lol. *their

I'm still on .340 will no problems that will force me to upgrade yet. If I have some hours to kill, I'd consider .342 but why bother right now? Everything seems to be fine for me so I'll stay pat. But with a gal you NEVER say NEVER. haha

Will not be going to 402.

Thanks for starting this thread as I was just researching this last night and was considering loading v7.1.0.402.

    I am currently on v7.1.0.163...

I would like to know what is working for those on Verizon.

Nope. Not crazy, at least not from this. The rumored update from Big Red has not yet been released. The current version from Verizon is 7.1.0.163.

Run away from 402. Run fast and don't look back. There are posts in several threads that discuss reasons, including some posts in this thread.

If 163 is working for you, I don't know that I'd load another OS since there hasn't really been anything remarkable added to the newer releases and leaks. Assuming that your heart is set on updating, the consensus seems to be that 267 and 342 are very good, 355 is kind of hit and miss, and 402 is to be avoided. Now remember that your experience with any of these might be different than someone else's, so 402 might be great for you. However, most folks that I know who have loaded 402 have gone back to 342 or 355 fairly soon.

I'm still using .267 and am fine staying there. I have no problems at all with it. After reading some of the reviews of the updates, I don't think I want them.
