    After looking at my post... think link only has .190 for the 9900 even though is states .205. Agoretsky34 posted the correct link for .205 (the newer 7.1) for 9900. I believe 205 is official by T-Mobile. Regard less, you can still use it if you delete the vendor file(s).

    Official per carrier. RIM releases the OS's to the carrier(s). They then choose to make it an official release. The downside is if you have an OS not approved by your carrier they may give you a hard time for service.
