your battery life on the former or new OS depends on a number of factors.

-did you install a new or more apps?

-does the app run in the background?

-what is the refresh rate of the app? e.g. every 10mins, 30mins, 1 hours, etc

-did you charge with a charger from an electric switch or from USB plugged to PC?

-did you increase the brightness of your screen?

    -did you enable audible scrool?

    -is key tone enabled?

    -is GPS always turned on?

.....the above and many more can determine how long your battery last.

Then I will advise that you "clean" install a fresh OS by doing a backup of your data and your 3rd party apps with DM and BBSAK. Wipe/nuke your phone with BBSAK. Install a fresh OS and load unto phone after deleting vendor.xml. Restore backup and 3rd party apps with DM and BBSAK. Wait for phone to update itself with pics and other stuffs. Then watch for 2days before reviewing.

It seems so but I haven't installed these OSs.

I'm still running on .317 hubrid and its manageable.

For me everything I need seems to be satisfied by this hybrid.

The only problems I have is the unavailability of some of my apps
on OS7 presently and the battery issue (which seems to be RIMs fault.
