Just got Upgrade to V 7.0.0.540 from Orange UK
Anyone know what this does ? ( Apart from re-install Twatter which I had to remove again...)
Any fix for the UMA problem and the battery drain ?????

Where did you download the update from?
What he said! :)
Just tried to find it on the Blackberry site for Orange UK and it isn't there. Interestingly they don't even have drop-down for the 9900 to allow you to view what software is available.
So I'd definitely be interested.
To answer the OP's question. Definitely no UMA; as for battery life common consensus is that there is a slight improvement. The reality is that no device or setup is the same so you'll have to try it for yourself. If you want more info have a look at the sticky at the top of this forum or the thread in the Leaked OS forum.
Cheers.

I'm not sure our US brethren will understand why, but this made me titter
Got a notification when I plugged in and BlackBerry Desktop software fired up....
Not noticed anything apart from the fact that I lost the OS 5.0 Ringtones again.....

If you have a look in the Leaked forum you'll see that .540 (in the same way as .503)fixes the battery issue for a large number of people.
I installed the leak last Friday, I'm O2-UK and I havent seen any improvement in my battery life from my previous install of the leaked .353.
Fingers crossed that the update sorts your battery...just remember to give it a few days, a few charges and a couple of battery pulls to level out.
I received the update too via software updates on the phone. There will definitely be no sign of UMA until February, much to my annoyance! :(
