- Hey everyone. I'm loving my 9930 so far. It's great to have a keyboard again. I am still in search for a good browser. I don't mind the stock browser, however I have found a lot of features in Opera Mini that I really like. One annoying thing though is that for certain actions (mainly accessing links that work through the app world and other similar actions) prompt me with an error that is something along the lines of "this browser is an older version of the browser" or "you are using an older browser". Is there a fix or work around for this? Or is it mandatory to use the stock browser for these actions? Thanks for the help.10-05-11 11:55 PMLike 0

- Are you still able to download/access those "actions" via native browser ?!
I use Opera Mini and it's great!!! I don't mind that apps must be DL via native browser.
I'll give "om" a shot just to see what it feels like... Thnxs buddy!!!

I like that it has column views which allow for you to not have to scroll constantly to read certain things (crackberry forum for instance). It basically wraps the text based on your screen and makes the text "fitted." Only downside is pinch to zoom does not work, but I have noticed that the browser does a great job at making everything just the right size where resizing is not necessary. Only annoying thing is the native browser issue. Other than that I really like it.10-06-11 01:35 PMLike 0

You don't have to scroll the read anything, just tap the screen twice to have all the text in column view and you can change the font size of that text. I really don't see the need for OM. I used OM on my last BB, but on the 9930 the browser is great. Its not lacking anything. Even the Javascript is great.
