Opera Mini Browser
Thought I would start a new thread about Opera Mini Browser just to bring it to the forefront again.
If you have not tried it give it a go. I have it set to single column and text set at small and it is really a pleasure to browse with. I find it much better than the built in browser.
Love the scroll up scroll down feature. If you are scrolling fast an arrow will appear. Just press on it and zoom up and down on your web pages.
You can get it at m.opera.com with your mobile.

Yeah, I use it too, and it is vastly better than the standard browser. Give it a go...

I would not say its better than the satndard browser, but I find it very useful for certain sites.
I have always use it for certain sites that never work well on the iphone or my torch and I'm glad to find it very useful on the 9900.
In terms of which one is better, I let u decide once u use it!

I used it quite a bit on Android, but until it can be set as the default browser on Bb, I'm leaving it off the 9930. it didn't seem any faster than stock either. .

I enjoy using the stock browser. It's been a great improvement since the 9700

If you know how to use the stock browser and use the shortcuts, auto text zoom and set the options right its waaaaaay better than Opera Mini.
Now with my 8530.....OM is waaaaay better that the stock browser.

Sorry OP, but no 3rd party browser can beat the stock OS 7 browser. Like HankHowdy said, if you know how to use the stock browser with its shortcuts and all there's no point in OperaMini.

I want to agree... But, the whole experience doesn't seem as "smooth" with Opera, compared to the stock browser. I only say that cause I'm a sucker for silky smooth scrolling and physics. But that's just me.

Never have to side scroll or zoom text with OM. Love it.

That's the ticket. OM works great for sites with long columns. It's great at formatting and sizing text.
