On your bold, just go to opera in google and it will take you to a dl link for opera mini 6.5 for BB. It works real good and now 6.5 has pinch to zoom, where the previous build did not. It works well on the bold

Can anyone explain to me why they would rather use Opera Mini over the stock OS7 browser? It seems to have some nice features possibly but it is not nearly as fluid and quick as the stock one. Pinch to zoom is also much nicer than Opera. But maybe I'm missing out on something. The only reason I've been using it is because something is screwed up with my service books or something, and on a email and IM only plan I can browse with Opera Mini but not with the stock browser. This is very cool and its worked for months.

i find it a bit more responsive in terms of scrolling. it seems to be a bit faster than the stock to me on my bold. also, i love the design and features they have. its really a matter of personal preference

The stock browser displays text too small for a few websites I frequent. Opera mini bumps up the text for these websites.
