I get this hourglass thing always when using whatsapp every couple of messages , the hourglass has to pop up , and it sometimes stays there for 2 to 3 mins :s

I also didn't have any problems while I had it on my phone. I finally took it off due to other reasons (it seemed to be a battery hog).

I didn't try re-installing but I updated it but still getting the same problem :s

This may not be a WhatsApp specific issue. I've had WhatsApp for months already and i've done several app updates and this has never happened yet - that is, a WhatsApp specific issue.

However, you may be low in memory in general. I had the .267 leak on OS 7.1 and there was a huge memory leak in addition to a miserable battery drain. After a batt pull, I would be at 140MB, but after 2 days, i would be down to 35MB, and there would be countless appearances of the hour glass aside from the freezing.

I am now on the leaked .342, and the hourglass has ceased to appear except on app installations, which is normal.

I hve the official .342 which was updated 2 days ago and I'm still getting that hourglass and I just re-installed the whatsapp but I still hve the same problem, it is rly making it hard to chat on
whatsapp :s :s

And its not low memory problem only 15% used
