Yeah you're right, definitely no device analyzer in this build. Just resource monitor.
App world updated to 3.1.2.42
BBM is 6.2.0.50
All these posts are making me wonder if Device Analyzer has just been incorporated and no longer appears as a standalone, like how Application Center disappeared a ways back.
Perhaps they wanted to take away novice users' ability to not use it.
The phone is always more responsive after any OS update. I have no idea why, but it's always the case in the 50+ upgrades I've done over several BB models. Then over the course of a few weeks, it slows down quite a bit. I have no idea why, I wish I could figure out what causes the slow down, because it really annoys me. If my BB could always feel as snappy as it does after an OS upgrade, I'd be pretty happy camper. This single issue of slow performance after several weeks is what's causing me to consider other devices.
Reboot your phone once every few days. I reboot everyday and found it will speed up the phone a bit.
I just had a notification icon show up that I had never seen before. Looked like a grey rectangle with a line graph through it. Turns out it was the resource monitor shutting down Vlingo because it was eating up battery resources. Vlingo didn't even show up as being opened, and I hardly ever use it. I think I'll like the resource monitor.
here I go again, the phamton led is making me crazy, I hope it will turn back my bb to a normal function with no blinking leds notifications to nothin!
Anybody installed and using Emaill++ and SixTools?
I had trouble with these programs on the later OS releases. Only .391 and before worked.. The .4XX didn't play nicely with these apps..
I have .402 installed with no issues with Email++ at all. The SixTools is not work at all or work once in a while. So I gave up on it... No wonder developers go for Android and iOS.
It's still not UMA calling, right? So, if wifi drops the call drops, right? Why couldn't they do the UMA calling so when wifi signal drops it carries smoothly over to network signal like the bold 9700 used to do?!? Oh well, gonna upgrade now...

You will only ever get Wifi Calling on a 9900 because it doesn't have a UMA chip like older models (and the new curves). So yes, if you move out of range of your router, the call will always drop.
The IT Policy is embedded into the OS as part of the new Parental Controls feature. You can't shrink it out, or remove it and still use the same OS. The only way you can get rid of it is to downgrade to .437 or .391 and below, then do a Factory Reset.
