One can be found under Apploader file.

Another is trying pasting this at your 'Search function' :

    C:\Users\<Your user name>\AppData\Roaming\Research In Motion\BlackBerry\Loader XML

And you should be able to locate the Loader XML File itself, with the vendor.xml inside it.

Has anyone else noticed jittery scrolling on websites with this OS. Especially noticeable scrolling through Crackberry forum pages.

I also had this problem before. It turned out that the "AppData" folder is hidden. If you are using Windows 7, go to Control Panel, Folder Options, (check) show hidden files/folders.
    I hope this helps.

I have a question. In of 6 and 5, appworld always installed the apps on either the device or media card and if i wanted to delete any remaining files after uninstalling an app, i could using the FILES app on my bb. But under os7 i can't find them and it's bothering me because under os6, something left over files caused apps to slow down or be less responsive. Does anyone know where those apps are being stored under OS7?

Why don't try for version 576 from AT&T?
I found it at Blackberry desktop and device software download sites

These build are getting progressively worse. That's why I'm sticking with .296 until one comes out.

Give the .585 with either the .540 or .503 radio file a go.

It is stable, snappy and has good battery life. Many good reviews and I can vouch for it from personal experience.

It is a huge leap from .296 and does not have the battery meter issue either.

See page 2 of the Official .585 thread for how to do it.

I agree. I was on .540 for a month, more or less, and battery drain was on 5% increments using the options> device> battery way, and not through third party battery monitoring apps.

On .296 the battery is fine, lasts me throughout the day no problem. I also don't experience andy chopiness or lag. In fact on .585 there was lots of lag, especially in the browaser, when on crackberry forums!

2nd full day on .590. It's now 16 hours since taking it off the charger. Because of the battery meter glitch, I don't really know how much charge I have left, but it says 42%. Today has seen moderate use: about 20 minutes of talk time, an hour or so of Kindle reading, some emails and web browsing, a fair amount of news reading. One podcast download. 3G on all day.

I don't know if this is the best battery life yet, but it's not bad.

After the phone discharged completely I pulled the battery on each occasion (2x), waited like 10 seconds and then put it back and charged it both times fully before beginning using the phone... in both occasions I had the 10% drop in the first thirty minutes after the full charge.. and this with light use.. I am on t-mobile and have whatsapp as the only third party app installed and I don't make more than 30 minutes call a day and I don't message more than 1 hour a day.
Now I know that the first discharge is only half of the story.. The second half is that with light use the phone will merely last 1 day whether with the previous official release in combination with the .503 radio having the same phone on the same network with the same kind of usage resulted in the phone lasting two days.
So yes I agree slightly with your statement.. since the phone still last one day.. but since it can do better than that by a 100%, this release can be considered from that perspective as a battery hog

I down graded to .585 last and had the same issue this morning with my battery level @ 85% after an over night charge. I'm wondering if this is a battery issue or a software issue?
Problem solved..... Flashlight 2 for 1 app was causing the problem.

This OS is working kinda fine for me BUT there's something bad with the file management (at least with the pictures)... If you copy a picture and paste it in another Folder it makes tons of copies of the picture and you have to reset the phone to return to normal.

Oh, Almost forgot... There's something strange with the camera too. I don't know how to explain.

    I think I'll give .585 a try... Seriously, we need 7.1
