This is the start of some tiny OCD fixes for my 9900 to kind of make it my own and enjoy it more.

I think it was like $4 on ebay. Has anyone else done anything to customize your 9900's in such a way?

I'm going to do a few more things.

That's why I like the devices from Voda UK. They never stamp their name on the chin plate, or anywhere else for that matter.

I dropped my 9930 from nine feet up a ladder and knocked a bunch of pixels dead. I used the opportunity to order a white body, keyboard, etc. I'm still waiting on the parts to be delivered, but I'll post some pictures once I swap it over.

I have to change my red Torch's front plastics.

I'll put a black front and original(black and rubber) back cover!

    It's gonna look awesome!

Na, it leaves the plastic dull and sometimes melted looking.

    Amazon and/or Ebay...

    Search for "Housing".

It's nice, but the back cover isnt rubber, so sometimes it just seems cheap, but nothing my alluminium case can't turn around

I actually prefer the battery cover of 9800 to the battery cover of 9810; 9800's is much better than 9810's.

I used nail polish remover to remove the Verizon logo. It worked perfectly. After you remove the branding take some tooth paste on a q-tip to clean any leftover image and it will shine right up. Looks great!

My Verizon logo is starting to come off from moderate/heavy use.

It worked on mine. Put the nail polish remover on a q-tip. It's not just going to wipe off, but it does come off.

Yup. I did the same thing with my Rogers 9900. You can see a bit of an imprint afterwards though, depending on what angle you look at it (and you really have to look). Put a scratch guard on it to prevent your thumbs from polishing the area beneath the space bar, and you won't notice it at all. Too bad my 9900 got sent in for repairs and they ended up sending me a new one. First world problems.

If you still see the image use toothpaste to get rid of it. Mine looks like it was never there.

I did the same thing with the leather door. Makes it look like a real Bold and it dosen't scratch either.

I liked the leather back on my 9700, it was bulletproof. You can't even set the 9900 down without a cloth under it.

What is the case that the OP is using? I used to love all the verizon holster case and it looks just like that. Can you confirm please?
