Just got a new 9930. Love the phone, but the blinking red notification light goes on when a call is coming in, but does not go off until app. 10 minutes after I answer the call. Never had this happen in 5 years with BB. Suggestions?

I've had this happen to me a couple of times... There's an app called LED Reset that takes care of this pesky annoyance.

    OS update should solve that.

Thanks for the tip. Downloaded LED Reset. Now the notification light doesn't come on at all for incoming calls. Crazy.

Check your profiles... this usually fixes all the red light blinking errors. Your light could have been blinking due to an app such Facebook, weather, twitter. Go through all the options and turn LED off.

Check out this awesome free app: Free Advance OS and LED - Download Advance OS and LED - Free Apps from BlackBerry App World

I was frustrated with the LED timing out after 15 minutes. This not only took care of that but has TONS of other great options. You won't need the app LED Reset either. This can put it on all menus (if you enable it).

a couple weeks a go an individual on here had the same OS problem. do the search for it and see what he had to do. LED indicator apps will work but are only a bandaid. by the way i like the app called "who is it led". you can change colors for different contacts and its plain simple which i like.

This often happens on my phone. Don't use alt shift delete to reset, because my phone nuked twice that way.

Alt shift delete to reset doesn't nuke your device. I do it all the time. No hard evidence to reinforce this.
