I have recently purchased a new Blackberry Bold 9900. I went to set up my email but it only has an option for Enterprise Email (BES) not BIS. I have a current $10 a month BIS plan on my phone bill and have logged into Blackberry World/Blackberry ID etc all fine without an issue. I also have the Blackberry symbol to the right of the 3G which my limited understanding tells me that I am connected to the BIS service.

Tried security wiping, factory resetting, reinstalling Email Setup via the application loader, talking to Telstra support. All to no avail.

Can anyone help me so I can set up my email, it's rather frustrating!

I have upon numerous occasions. I receive the message that it is 'registered to the wireless network', however the email setup remains unchanged.

you'll then need to call Telstra's blackberry support, ensure that your PIN is registered in their network. I would say you try and load the latest OS from the sticky and re do that again in the meantime.
