"2g 3g 4g" sounds more of a GSM/HSPA+ network, in which case you may want a 9900, not the 9930. Find out your carrier's specific network bands before deciding.

Most definitely! More than likely u need a 9900. I'm from Jamaica & on Digicel's network. Not a bad idea to call your network carrier & ask which 99xx series they support.

I'm going to assume by unlocked you mean the GSM side of the phone. Most CDMA carriers will not activate a device that has an ESN number that's foreign to their network.

In addition to the 800/1900 CDMA EVDO radio, the 9930 is able to access 850/900/1800/1900 GSM bands (EDGE or "2G") and the 900/2100 HSPA bands. If your carrier supports any of the above frequencies, it should work.
