When I set up my phone I made a mistake and input an email address for verification to be sent to thinking that I was creating a new email account with a new password. The email address that I created is an email address I can not get into so I am unable to log in. What I thought was that I was creating a username. I have forgotten the password and at the same time am unable to get to that email account. Due to this my Bold 9900 won't allow me to reset the phone. Anyone able to help? Would like to reset and set up a new BB ID. Was unable to do so connecting to my Windows laptop nor reset via the security on the Bold 9900.

If you just search for bb in options you get the BBID options page, from there you can change all settings.

You need to be able to log in first before you can change any settings.

Visit App World on a pc and log in using the 'forgot password' link. You can change the email, password and payment option once logged in.

Once logged in and if you can not log in then you can not do anything. If you create a new ID online it still won't let you do anything as the Bold 9900 device needs to log in first before changes are allowed.
