yes. because it blows the other non 3g phones away. it's hardware is NOT outdated....for physical keyboard phones, it's the most advanced keyboard on the market. it's also bb's new flagship device.
you don't want to pay for it....don't. it will be cheaper down the road. i will jumping on it like white on rice. $250 is a great price.
You are crazy. This doesn't blow any 4g phones away. Maybe some of the lower 3g phones but the droid 3 is still a better phone and at a lower price too.

I dont know, I have the Droid 3 and its not a great PHONE, its good at everything else. Ill be getting the 9930 and will be comparing it to the Droid 3.
I was going to buy this phone but for $250 I'm holding off. No matter how you you put it, it's too expensive for what it is. While this phone is one of the nicest available in terms of exterior hardware it's interior is mid-range at best. Kind of comparable to HP's Pre 3 (if they ever release it).
There's absolutely no way I'm going to pay more for this phone than I paid for my wife's iPhone 4 half a year ago at Verizon.
That said, they'll find out soon enough that most people except for hardcore fans will share this sentiment with me and the price will come down.
What's an "NE2" discount? Sounds like a shaft to me. and BOLD9930 stop being a party pooper! if people didn't leak for their company then other companies that DID leak would get the hype first and people would bring teir business to them. if anything it may help VZW a little. I bet you were the one who use to tattle a lot when you were little didn't you?
couple more pics for you verizon guys. i will say this....the gsm tmobile 9900 felt alot smoother and faster than the 9930. not sure why. the browser was quicker as well. this maybe due to the fact the 9900 was activated and fully operational. idk. also, the 9900 had 238mb of free space compared to the 188 on the 9930.

Thanks for the pics! Do you plan to activate the Verizon 9930 to test the browser?

i would if i could. i did use the browser over wifi on both the 9930 and 9850. both scored an identical 270 (if i remember right) on the html5 browser test. which is faster than the iphone 4
At $250 on contract, as much as I wanted this phone, I think I'm going to wind up passing on it. It's just not enough for the price point. $200? Sure, why not. At $50 more? Not longer an impulse buy in my opinion.
I agree. If you recall AT&T released the Blackberry Torch at $199 and within a month it was down to $99 due to low sales.

Totally agree with you there. Within 2 weeks there will be a bogo or a price drop.

Stop crying about it being $250 with contract. Wirefly will have it for $199 after a week or 2. After a few months they will have it for $149. I never buy from the verizon store or their site unless they send me discount offers.

That and I am sure Costco will have it for that as well.

$250 is not a great price. Rogers is selling it for $199 after lowering the price the same week as the release.
i agree emphatically! I have waited for this phone for a long time, just to get slapped in the face with an outrageous price tag. I refuse to pay 250 for it!
