Kind of funny actually, you are on a tech forum, and a "smart"phone user, and you need green and red keys to help with functions..
I am surprised that many people don't care and will get away from this. As customers are paying for a device, each could have preferences and call for details. It is not a matter of using a smart phone or the need of help with red and green. I would say the colored keys are more user friendly, nor can I see the monotone is defined "innovative".
Anyway, no device is perfect so just get over it, it is still a solid phone.
Apparently quite a few care about the keyboard colors… as do I. After finally bringing back the 9000 form factor, RIM would be making a mistake if they don’t keep the colors.

The color of keys would never be a deal breaker for me. Silly IMO.

Well guess they made a mistake. Because they got rid of them.
I'm on the red and green bandwagon also.
What I want to know is if anyone who thinks the styling of the phone looks too old, also thinks it needs the red n green?
