there are a couple links to doing that further up in this thread...they are really good youtube videos of taking your phone apart step by step...its very easy...you just have to be carefull of your ribbons...i took my casing off two days ago to pull the protective films off the lenses in the back (forehead smack) and i didnt have to remove the keyboard OR the lcd....watch the video several times and get yourself one of the tool kits...*Grins* You gotta finish that thing up!!

aw cheers bus but how would i transfer everything from the black (back) housing to the red??

Just like in the video..you have to take all the screws out....bottom, middle, and top...and then gently pry the back casing away...then....install your red casing the same way...put the top screws in...slide the lcd up...put the bottom screws in...click the kb back in place...and finish by putting the bottom screws in! *Grins* its pretty easy...just watch the video a few times..thats what i did! the back casing is not attached to any of the other parts except by the 6 screws! You dont have to worry about ribbons or anything!

Based on my housing i received, the original housing, and pictures of back housings, it seems like you can remove each of the small parts inside. I know you can actually purchase some of the inside parts, but i was unable to find anything definitive, in terms of installation. The parts inside are earjack Port,Buzzer,Antenna,Camera Lens).

For those reasons, I went with a full white housing (w/ white thing on the earphone jack of the bezel and white lining inside, white assembled kb and keypad, etc...) and an assembled white LCD. After seeing your post, it seems i could've saved money a bit of money with a white LCD cover. But at this point, mine is done, looks right, feels right, and is complete.
