RIM BlackBerry Bold 9930 (Verizon) review
There's not a lot of good reviews out on this device becaues its a blackberry. For some reason some want to bury BB and see them out of business it not happening not now. It will take some time but BB will be a sought after product once again.

The reviews I like the most is the Wireless Insider review and the Techno Buffalo via jon4lakers.
Thanks for the references, by the way it is better to post links so we don't have to search the web for something you've already found and mentioned.
I think this one of the reviews you are referring to?
BlackBerry Bold 9900 Review! The Best Berry Yet? (video) | TechnoBuffalo
It does seem like some sites are anti BlackBerry but does it mean whenever there isn't a glowing review for the 9930 we can simply pass it off as the site is against BlackBerry or is it because they are comparing the devices to what other platforms have to offer?
It seems that reviewers that were already using BlackBerrys as their devices are more likely to give favorable reviews to the 9930 because they are approaching it from the perspective of comparing it to previous generation BlackBerrys. By contrast it appears that reviewers who don't give the 9930 great reviews are not BlackBerry users, they review the 9930 in direct comparison to other platforms.
Just my observation from reviews I've seen to date (including CrackBerry one).
Someone out there is buying it and loving it! Sprint and tmobile online are sold out so are most of my local stores. Reviewers are just showing the hatred toward Rim not the phone, its sad.

Every review, with the exception of crackberry reads exactly the same way. Great hardware. Best blackberry ever. Blackberry fans will be very happy. Not good enough to compete. App selection is horrible. OS is stale.
Not to be a Debbie Downer but that's an apt description of the thing. It is NOT amazing, it adds no new useful features to the smartphone space and is generally outclassed (or will be within a month of its release) by the competition hardware-wise. Its high price point won't do much to boost sales either.
As much as we all may like it, that doesn't mean it's somehow technologically superior because we wish it to be. We will have to wait for QNX and see if that actually brings anything new to the party. Pointing out the obvious doesn't make you a BB traitor.
It does have a stale OS, which is the same problem with Apple's iOS. The thing is... the iOS is better than BB's OS7 so it fares better when it comes to OS. App selection IS horrible... that is really not debatable compared with Android having 50x more apps and Apple having 85x more. RIM has been around how long? That's a horrible ratio. It is not good enough to compete with Apple's and Android's offerings. That's why tech sites don't even bother with doing comparisons with BB and it's not because of "hatred" of BB. Even members of Android and iPhone forums don't care to mention BB in terms of comparing for very good reason and it's NOT because they're jealous. lol
This 9930 does have great hardware and is the best BB ever AND BB fans will be very happy with it.
Every review is essentially correct regarding these statements.
i think its funny people keep bringing up this app selection comparision. i have every app i need for everyday life on my blackberry. i have a 3ds for gaming. what am i missing?????
I waited on this device for the longest time. But it I have to say I've been let down yet again. If I honestly didn't like the keyboard and messaging in would have had to leave again. I love the build and the sleekness of the 99xx. But I'm having multiple issues that really should have been put in check by rim. I'm not here to bash just some truths. I'm hoping an official os update will address some of these issues. Imparticular an extended battery cause I'm abusing this one like a redhead step child.
