Hi all, need a little help here.

I updated to .714 last week and noticed now that when I send a text message

I'm not getting a delivery report back (the small D icon that appears over the check mark to the left of the text)

In the SMS options I have the Delivery Report box ticked, any help with this would be much appreciated

I'm on Bold 9900 .714 on the O2 carrier in Ireland.

Are you an o2 UK user?

if so they never had the 'normal' delivery reports even with a BB.

If you want the 'D' you *must* prefix your SMS with '*0#' - this is a known problem with the o2 network, and from conversations with them they are unlikely to ever fix it - it may not even work when they deploy there 4G networks.

o2 have never supported normal delivery stuff and its a right pain - the work around above should get you going - assign it to a word substation

I'm in the Republic. I'm on O2 Ireland but I imagine any updates come from the UK first, maybe?

There wasn't a problem until I upgraded, I'm gonna downgrade tomorrow and see if the problem persists.
