I'm looking into getting a new micro SD card for my 9900. I've looked at the chart on the BB Help forums but they only list capacities. I know that 32GB is the highest capacity I can use. I wanna know if the 9900 has a limit on the classes it can be used with. I don't wanna go buying a class 10 and finding out I can't use it cuz they're non-refundable and I have no other use for it other than my phone. I've tried searching and got nothing anywhere. Hope you guys can help me.
i think you can use class 10, you can definitely use up to class 6 though but tbh class 4 is all you really need. the only time the photos/videos/music need to load up is ONCE after being connected in usb mode to the computer and even then it only takes 15 seconds to load everything; after that its already loaded up you dont need to wait so youd really be wasting your money getting a faster card
It takes 30+ minutes to transfer 3GB of music onto the card. That's ridiculous. I kinda wanted it to be faster. Are you sure it wouldn't make a difference in speed for when the phone needs to access data from it?
i have a class 10 32 GB Strontium card in my BB 9900 and it works like a charm :):) heard that there are some problem with Sandisk Class 10 cards....go for any other brand just to be safe....
I have the 16GB SanDisk ultra class 10. It works perfectly and is noticeably faster than my older class 4. I have the 9900.
