    is there anyway to change settings so that i can see some of the truncated message? received an important email but could not see any of the content.

    Are you on BES? I was told my admin, tech people, etc. -- the people behind the curtain -- had to do this for me. I don't know. I'll be interested in the "right answer" as well. Sorry, wish I could give you a more definitive answer. Good luck.

    Email messages received using a BlackBerry Internet Service (BIS) account cannot exceed 8 MB, regardless of the size of the mailbox.

    In BES it is the BES administrator who can configure the max file size.
