Memory Options on 9930

I am confused about the memory on my 9930. I understand where applications go, but can someone explain the difference between Media Storage (6.2GB-5.7GB Free) and the Medica Card Storage. It seems my photos etc go to my media card, so what is the Media Storage? What actually goes there? I'm confused, thanks for your help!

If I'm not wrong, the media storage is the space for storing media on your phone internal memory while the media card is your SD card.

you can use either storage location interchangeably. You can set the default storage location in the media apps. I prefer to keep all media on the microSD card and work files on internal storage. No real reason why, just a habit.
