Our CEO drives a 2010 Lexus RX350 and complains that when her 9930 is connected to the car's bluetooth, if she dials a number from her blackberry's keypad speed dial or from the device's address book, the call connects, then drops. She states this happens every time. If she dials from the car's speed dial or address book, it works fine. The Lexus dealer says the car's software is up to date and did not have this problem connecting his own, non-Blackberry, device and calling from his device's keypad. This is driving problem is driving CEO crazy and she wants to switch to an iPhone. Help!

Is she running the most recent OS update?

Maybe you could also try to remove her phone out of the car's bluetooth system and reconnect it again.

I also have a Lexus (ES350) and a Torch 9850 (ver. 7.1.0 bundle 2123). About 1 - 2 months now I periodically drop calls and lose my phones bluetooth connection with my car. Both my phone and my car have been constant for years. Does anyone have a suggestion or solution? My only workaround is turning off the car then allowing a reconnection.

I don't know if it's an OS issue or hardware issue. I started having bluetooth issues with my 9900 over a month ago. I was still running on 7.0. I have an Acura TSX. The 9900 was paired to my car but it won't connect. So I would have to pair my phone to my car again. This happened a few times. When I updated to 7.1, it happened again. I have other issues with my 9900 so Rogers deemed it defective (hardware).
