Thus Always on point, you might not have rescued him if you misunderstood the situation. ; )
Gordonzhao; LOL .. the reason why it says he has the latest OS is because both vendor files have not deleted. Even if you have two OS installed it works. It gives you the option of choosing.

Did you have to wipe and re-install again for those 2 times or just battery pull?

I cant get 7.0.0.362 to show as an available option for updating. I've downloaded it and double clicked it. The other thing is that my Blackberry Desktop Software help page won't come up when I click on it.
    Any suggestions.

can you elaborate on this. I'm having the same problem where it says my OS is up to date and won't allow me the option of updating to the new OS .362

My 10%+ battery drain problem (see prior posts in this thread) is a thing of the past. What did I do? I uninstalled Battery Watch! Evidently, monitoring my battery use was occasionally draining my battery at ridiculous speeds! I now get between 2-3% (light use / idle) and 6-7% (heavy use, GPS, etc) drain rates per hour with this OS.

Battery life is improved for me too with this build. I am now seeing 1.5-2.5% drop per hour at idle or with minimal usage. This is about half what I had on .353

All else seems good so far.....

How are you measuring your battery usage?

I heard you can use Meterberry. Is it a good app?
Would an app like that be always running in the background and using juice?

    Thanks.

I tried to post a reply from the iPhone.....but no joy ;(

I measure my battery with an app I purchased on AppWorld, it's called SmartBindle. I don't see much if any real drain from this app and it provides a percentage/icon in my notifications area. I estimated the 1.5-2.5% drop per hour based on the displayed percentage (which has always been exactly the same as what is displayed in my Device Info screen) and the time since I removed the charger. Based on today's usage, I had a 4% drop, all at idle except two brief calls (2 minutes each) and that was over a four hour period. I would say this may be some of the best battery life I've seen since the 7700 series Blackberry, but it is surely the best I've seen on the 9930.

    Same here.

Seriously considering the Nexus Galaxy (verizon user here) with ICS - looks amazing...supposed to drop on 11/3. Give my wife the 9930....

I Can't seem to find the vendor files on my computer. I'm showing the hidden files but can't find anything where it should be. I'm running windows 7 64bit edition, if it helps. Anyone have any ideas?

can't you just do something like a 'universal search' for "vendor" or even "vendor.xml"?

Anyone one on Sprint or Verizon. Please try our SIP Client (BlackVoib) on your 9930. We had to up date our Verizon phones to this version in order for the app to work well. Our phones are also unlocked and would like to see how our app works out on a non-unlocked CDMA phone. If it works, you should be able to surf the web while on a SIP VoIP call. Eat that Verizon. You can get a 14-day free trial by signing up on our site.

Sorry, you need a windows OS to load the leaked OS or files from some other service provider. However, you listed your device as 8320 (Curve), so this OS will NOT work on your 8320 (Curve) anyway.

I tried it with version 374 then downgraded to version 362 and it does not work on my BB9930 on Verizon. I can call out and the other end can hear me but I cannot hear them trying to talk to me. I am using Sipgate and even tried Icomms.net. Same problem.
But, I did have another vendor "Messanging Bay" working (fully) for a while then suddenly it stopped working. Verizon might be doing something here.
